  • Sir Henry Parkes: Sir Henry Parkes was born on May 27, 1815, in Canley, Warwickshire, England. He migrated to Australia in 1839 and settled in the Tenterfield area in the 1840s. Parkes went on to become a prominent Australian politician and was known as the "Father of Federation." He played a crucial role in the movement towards Australia's federation and served as the Premier of New South Wales on five separate occasions. Sir Henry Parkes passed away on April 27, 1896.
  • Ben Hall: Ben Hall was born on May 9, 1837, in Maitland, New South Wales. He became one of Australia's most notorious bushrangers during the 1860s. While Hall was not born in Tenterfield, he often frequented the area and had associates in the region. His crimes and exploits have been widely documented in Australian history.
  • Peter Allen: Peter Allen was born on February 10, 1944, in Tenterfield, New South Wales. He was a talented singer-songwriter, musician, and entertainer. Allen achieved international success with his songs such as "I Go to Rio" and "Tenterfield Saddler."
